Become a 'Big Roo Road Ambassador'

Going through a bad patch? Having a hard time getting around? Need some wheels to help you get back up on your feet?

We are looking for genuine "Aussie battlers" who need a helping hand to get them 'on the road' (literally) to a brighter future.

Or maybe you work as a volunteer for a local charity and are finding it tough. Maybe the car is broken-down and needs repairs you can't afford! Never mind, we can help with a temporary vehicle and fuel to qualified 'Big Roo Road Ambassadors'.

Successful candidates will be provided with a late-model car, totally free of charge, for a full three months, or longer, to help them pull their lives together.

We will:

  • Provide, on limited loan, a late-model compact car to each participant for a minimum of three months.
  • The car will be delivered with a full tank of fuel.
  • Pay for all insurance and maintenance costs.

You must:

  • Be at least 25 years of age
  • Have a clean driving licence
  • Be a responsible, careful and considerate driver
  • Drive at least 400 kilometres a week
  • Keep the vehicle in a clean and roadworthy condition
  • Be an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident

Those providing a volunteer service to the community will be given priority.

Each car will be decorated with Big Roo logos and colours, so it's important to us who drives the vehicles as they will be representing Big Roo to the public.

Jason Tobin, who appeared in the Hollywood movie 'The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift', was on the Gold Coast, Queensland, recently to test drive one of the Big Roo cars.

This clip was shown 'Mornings with Kerri-Anne' on Channel Nine, Australia-wide, and the Big Roo press release was posted on Kerri-Anne's website.
